***Sorry it took me a few days to post the following, but it really has been pretty hectic and time kept slipping away from me***

We arrived in Washington DC on Tuesday, 9-7-10 for our last lay-over city.  We spent two days in Washington DC - but to really absorb all the monuments and history you can stay two weeks and still only scratch the surface as there is so much to see.  The team toured the White House and/or the Capital Building.  I didn't get a chance to tour the White House due to the White House not receiving the American half of the team's information soon enough so the Australian's were the only one's able to do so.  The Capital Building was very interesting with so much history -  I highly recommend spending at least a week in Washington DC if you haven't been there before.
